4 Join your local Patient Participation Group
A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients who are interested in health and who want to get involved with supporting the running of their local practice. Most groups are also attended by members of the practice staff who meet regularly to discuss how to make a positive contribution to the services and facilities offered by the practice.
If you would like to get involved, please ask your GP practice receptionist if your practice has a group. You can also find out more from the National Association for Patient Participation: www.napp.org.uk.
