At Tower Hamlets CCG we aim to put the voice of local people at the heart of everything we do.
We are constantly seeking to improve services and to make sure that our resources are used in the best possible way to commission safe, effective and high quality healthcare. People's experiences and views, good and bad, help us to understand what we are getting right and where improvements can be made.
We want all of our patients, their families and the wider public to have a genuine influence over how their local health and care services are designed and delivered, and your feedback is essential when making plans for the future.
There are lots of ways that you give us your views and get involved in the work of the CCG, including:
- Attending public meetings, including our Governing Body meetings
- Coming to engagement events and providing your feedback
- Being involved in specific pieces of research, such as surveys and focus groups

Promoting patient choice
We are committed to promoting patient choice and raising awareness of patients' legal rights to choice. Joining your local Patient Participation Group
A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients linked with a GP practice. PPGs can represent the patients at a practice and provide feedback on the services their practice offers. Find out more.

Joining the Maternity Voices Partnership
The aim of the Maternity Voices Partnership, previously know as the Maternity Service Liaison Committee, is to improve the quality of maternity services being offered in Tower Hamlets by supporting local mothers to influence policy and practice. They do this by talking to mothers about their experiences of using the maternity services and sharing these experiences to those who provide the service.
