Dr Isabel Hodkinson
Principal Clinical Lead
Isabel Hodkinson trained as a GP on the Hackney scheme. She became a GP principal in Bow 20 years ago, initially as a job share singlehander with her husband George Farrelly, with whom she also shared the care of their then one year old twins.
She continues to work as a part time clinician but has also developed a portfolio career. She works as a GP clinical lead for diabetes, a role which has developed considerably since 2007, with work on the Year of Care project, diabetes care packages and increasing commissioning responsibilities. In addition she is an undergraduate clinician tutor for Barts and the London medical school and a GP appraiser.
