Tell us your story

We are interested in hearing your stories, positive or negative, about NHS services you have used in Tower Hamlets.

Your story will be told to a member of CCG staff, who will interview you. Your story will then be presented to the CCG Governing Body at their public meetings, which take place every other month. If you would like to attend these meetings and give your story in person, you will also be supported to do so. The Governing Body will then have the opportunity to ask questions, comment and commit to actions based on your story.

These stories help to keep the patient voice at the heart of what we do. By listening to real experiences, the Governing Body can understand what works, what doesn’t work and what barriers patients might face, as well as hearing suggestions from local people about how things could be improved in the future. This helps us to continuously improve the services we commission and the experience of our patients.

We are always looking for people to tell us their story. We particularly want to hear from residents who have had recent experiences of using hospital services commissioned by Barts Health NHS Trust, and in particular your experiences at the Royal London and Mile End Hospitals. We’re also interested in hearing about your experience of using services provided by East London Foundation Trust, which provides mental health services in the borough.

If you or you know someone would like to tell your story, please get in touch by contacting Jessica Neece, Engagement Manager, on:
