Small number of measles cases in Tower Hamlets
A small number of measles cases have been identified in primary and secondary schools in Tower Hamlets. These cases have occurred in individuals who have not been vaccinated against measles.

The annual Carers Week campaign from June 8-14 is seen as an opportunity to raise further awareness of caring highlight challenges and recognise the important contributions made by carers every day. This year s focus is on Carer Friendly Communities acknowledging the support carers provide for their loved ones while recognising that they are individuals with needs of their own.

Putting Children's safety first

Tower Hamlets top in London for the delivery of the flu vaccine to people who are 65 years and over
Tower Hamlets had a 75% uptake of the flu vaccine this season and were the top borough in London for the delivery of the flu vaccine to local residents who are 65 years and over; beating the national average. Tower Hamlets was also recognised as the second highest in delivering the seasonal flu vaccination to other eligible groups including pregnant women and people with long-term conditions such
